MontBell Co. Ltd. was established in Osaka, Japan, on August 1,1975. Our goal has been to produce high quality outdoor equipment.

The story of MontBell is the story of its founder and president, Isamu Tatsuno.

MontBell focuses on "Light & Fast™" and does so without compromising on quality, durability or function.

After establishing its US operations in 2002, MontBell became a member of Outdoor Industry Association and began supporting the American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA).
