The Trail Action Pullover is quickly becoming my favorite Fall piece. I’ve now worn it on cold windy hikes in the North Carolina Appalachian Mountains, rainy northern Michigan excursions, and crisp November weather running in Pennsylvania. I’ve also found it to be a comfy go-to even just sitting around the house!
Here’s why:
It’s warm, but not heavy or bulky.
The outer finish is smooth (no static cling when layering jackets).
While not specifically treated with a DWR I’ve found the Stretch Climaplus fabric to be resistant to light moisture. It also dries quickly and wicks well, which is essential when exercising in cold temperatures.
The stretch fabric moves with you and is never restrictive. This makes for a comfortable fit.
I appreciate the ¾ zipper vent when I’m exercising.
The only drawback I’ve found is purely aesthetic; the large chest pocket is not tacked into position so it can fold and create unflattering lines/bulk on the chest. But this is easily corrected by making sure it is laying flat when you first put it on.
