JUSTIN LICHTER
About Justin
Congratulations to ultra light thru-hiker Justin "Trauma" Lichter and his dog Yoni on completing their 356 day, 10,000 mile ultra-light journey! MontBell is proud to support Trauma by providing ultra-light sleeping bags and clothing during his Light & Fast thru-hiking adventures.
"I started in Quebec on November 1st, 2005 and headed south to Key West, Florida. I made it through and got to Key West on April 12, connecting the international Appalachian trail with the Appalachian Trail, Benton MacKaye Trail, Georgia Pinhote Trial, Alabama Pinhote Trial, and the Florida Trail. I then went over to the southern terminus of the Pacific Crest Trial and hiked North from the Mexican boarder. I finished at eh Canadian boarder, traveling on snow and not seeing any ground for about 1000 of the 2650 miles. Then I drove over to the Canada/Montana boarder, the northern terminus for the Continental Divide Trail and hiked south back to Mexico, completing the 10,000 miles in less than one year."
"I felt like a migrating bird, minus the small detail that I couldn't fly and was walking the whole way"
- Trauma.
