This parka seems quite breathable even hiking in humid Florida conditions. The waterproof zippers and pockets ensure that you stay dry even in prolonged rain. I recommend sizing up if you intend to layer anything thick underneath. The sleeve length is perfect and it covers to the top of the hips. I would prefer a stiffer brim to the hood in order to keep it from sagging into the line of vision. I found that I had to keep looking down in order to really see anything.The feel of the fabric is very soft and slightly stretchy. I prefer this to the Storm parka, which has a stiffer feel. The features are quite similar.
