Alpine Thermo Bottle 0.9L

Updated 08/19/20 (EST)

This sleek insulated flask is one of the best ones we’ve come across

This is an impressive bit of kit and it’s no surprise to us that it picked up an OutDoor Award when it was released back in 2016. From our experience with it, it’s not only lighter than most of its competitors but it’s also a more effective insulator. To top it all off, this thing is extremely durable – something you’ll be able to count on.

DAUERTEST: 12 Monate / PREIS: 59 € / GEWICHT: 390g

Outstanding: Montbell Alpine Thermo Bottle

To make it short. There currently exists no more powerful thermos than Montbell’s Alpine Thermo Bottle in the market. At 390 grams, the 0.9-liter bottle weighs over 25 percent less than the competing products, and the insulation is superb (The temperature of boiling water after 10 hours drops by -18℃ to 72℃). The handling is also convincing. A quarter turn of the inner cap is sufficient for pouring out, and the wide, non-slip silicone on the bottom of the bottle and the mug ensures a secure stand.

Test duration: 12 months / Price: 59 € / Weight: 390g

(+)Very light thermo bottle, perfectly insulated and stands securely. Quickly opened and easy to fill.

Cold Comforts

Review Date: November/December 2018

Nothing warms the spirit like a steaming beverage on a cold day, and MONTBELL may have perfected the art of carrying it. Its Alpine Thermo Bottle available in four sizes, is made from vacuum-sealed stainless steel with interior copper plating to reflect heat and has a lid with grippy silicone that doubles as a cup. Made for mountaineers, it's svelte and lighter than other thermoses but still keeps your precious elixirs hot all day.
