The Versalite Jacket has always followed our "Light & Fast®" design philosophy. Since its inception, we have strived to continually improve upon the design in order to create the best ultralight rain shell possible. We are now pleased to present a major enhancement to the design of the Versalite in order to improve comfort and the overall user experience. The redesigned Versalite Jacket is made using K-Mono Cut, a unique fabric cutting pattern developed in-house based on our Ki-no-bi (Function is Beauty) philosophy. Utilizing GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics, the jacket now feels smoother and has increased durability. By seam sealing the GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric, Montbell has reinvented the Versalite Jacket as a super lightweight, rain shell.

K-Mono Cut

Cut from a single piece of fabric, K-MONO CUT drastically reduces the amount of seam lines eliminating areas where water can penetrate, promoting the jacket to be waterproof and lightweight. This innovative pattern is based on Montbell's philosophy of "Ki-no-bi" which is a Japanese term for "Function is Beauty".
