About the Store

Montbell Denver Store is located on the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver. The store offers a wide variety of Montbell outdoor products ranging from insulation layers, hard shells, as well as activity specific outdoor garments, sleeping bags, backpacking and camping gear to safely enjoy the outdoors, making this a perfect place to visit before heading out on your next adventure. Like all Montbell locations, the store features our award winning “Light & Fast®” product designs and knowledgeable sales associates; waiting for locals, tourists, and of course, outdoor enthusiasts at this mile high city store.

The store is situated at the center of downtown area and right by the Denver Pavilions. Take the free mall shuttle bus and hop off in front of the store or use the local RTD train to access any time of the day. Public parking is also available around the store.

【CDT Thru-Hike 147 day along America's Great Divide】
On April 18, 2016, Whitney "Allgood" LaRuffa set off from Crazy Cook Monument and walked north to the US/Canadian border along the length of the CDT in 147 days. Allgood who has spent a better part of the past 24 years long-distance hiking will share his tales from the trail, stunning photos, and some humorous stories from his time out there. Joining "Allgood" will be Teresa Martinez the Executive director of the CDTC to talk about the trail organization and the work they are doing.

【Heather "Anish" Anderson Book Signing】
Come join us for an evening with Montbell Ambassador Heather "Anish" Anderson. Heather will be discussing her journey from hiker to author of her new book, Thirst: 2600 Miles to Home. During the evening she will be sharing stories from the PCT and readings from the book. This is a great chance to meet the author and get a signed copy of the new book.
Heather was recently chosen by National Geographic as a “2019 Adventurer of the Year.” In part due to her recent feat of becoming the first female to complete the Triple Crown in a calendar year and having hiked nearly 30,000 miles since 2003.

【Come meet Kumamon】
Kumamon is visiting Colorado and will be stopping by the Montbell Denver Store
Kumamon will be visiting places around the area to express gratitude to the citizens of Colorado for helping Kumamoto prefecture during the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake in Japan.

Who is Kumamon?
Kumamon is the mascot of Kumamoto Prefecture. Started working on March 12th, the day the entire route of Kyushu Shinkansen started operations.
