I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this parka! I pretty much lived in it on a 3 week winter peakbagging trip to Nevada in December and have been using it during winter training season here in Washington State. Warm enough to keep me toasty during 20 degree temps and still comfortable enough to move in without overheating. It’s been perfect in camp and on the mountain and it packs down into my running pack as extra insurance when I’m out all day and into the night when the temperatures plummet. The internal mesh security pockets are also essential for keeping not only important things safe, but also nestling no-freeze items such as my Sawyer mini-water filter, water bottles, and nutrition close to my body. Best of all it weighs in at just over a pound making it versatile enough to go on both daytrips and overnight adventures.
