Long armed ladies this is your new mid-layer! This versatile fleece fits true to size with enough room for light layering and with adequate sleeve length. I’m 5’8” and have fairly long arms. Often the sleeves on Smalls and Mediums don’t cover my wrist. However, the Montbell Climaplus Knit Parka in a medium does, which is a huge win when picking a good mid-layer. When combined with the Peak Shell Jacket you have the perfect winter hiking combo, no matter what Mother Nature throws at you.

In addition to fit, this piece is attractive enough to go from trail to town and back. With a full front zip and zip side pockets it’s easily vented and provides secure places for keys, wallet, etc on shorter trips. I’ve been wearing mine on cool evening walks, to the store, and on longer hikes–sometimes all in the same day. Large internal pockets are good for storing gloves, hats, etc. The integrated hood is large enough to fit over a cap or hat without being floppy or bulky.
